The microphone / PTT-button does not work on a Tipro PC.

The Tipro PC must be correctly configured in Tipro’s settings program ChangeMe Utilities for the microphone and PTT to work in SoftRadio. We ship the Tipro preconfigured, and the settings normally do not need to be changed.

If you do make changes, note that the current settings are not shown when ChangeMe Utilities is opened - you must load the settings file manually. Saving a new configuration will overwrite the existing one.

If the preconfigured settings have been overwritten and the microphone or PTT button no longer works, try applying these settings:

  • In the Keys options, there is a drop down under Microphone key, set this to Always on.

  • Click on the little microphone and set Layer1 to F8 and Repeat while pressed.
