What are the power requirements for the Mimer hardware?

To power a Mimer Network Interface (both standard and LE), we recommend using 12VDC, which is the same voltage as most radios. This makes it simple to use the same power source for both your radio and the Network Interface.

If you have an older unit with a 4-digit serial number, it can handle 9-18 VDC, while newer units with a 5-digit serial number can handle 9–30VDC. The interface typically consumes a maximum of 0.3A.

Similarly, we recommend 12VDC for the X-Link interface. The X-Link interface can handle 8-18 VDC / max 0,3A.
